Toshihiro Wakui studied as an apprentice at Yoshikane Hamono, after transitioning from hand-forged crowbars. His metallurgical knowledge quickly saw him become a Sanjo blacksmithing icon, producing knives with exceptional attention to detail of the highest quality. Orders placed with Wakui San sometimes exceed 2 years until they are fulfilled, as he is the sole craftsman of all his knives.
